Mary Lou Carlock, born January 22, 1937 in Collins, MS, went to be with the Lord October 22, 2011 while at home. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. Services will be 10am Tuesday at Harmony Baptist Church with burial in Harmony Cemetery.

Mrs. Carlock cared for many and loved all and had a tough appearance but a caring heart. She surrounded herself with family and friends. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling, traveling, reading and a good game of scrabble. Many long afternoons were spent with family around a huge puzzle spread across the dining room table. She was a great listener and a wise advisor, a hard worker and a passionate woman who was faithful and honest to all she knew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmit Ray and Leouis Williamson; son, Preston Carlock; brothers, David Williamson, Sonny Williamson and Ray Edward Williamson.

Survivors include her husband, Cliff Carlock; children, Diane Thompson of Arizona, Shelia (Wade) Yates of Crystal Springs, Janice Fulow of Collins, Angie (Neal) Patrick of Crystal Springs, and Duane Carlock of Crystal Springs; 10 grandchildren and 2 more due this year.
