Frances Camille (McCammon) Spikes
Mrs. Sam L. Spikes, 85, a native of Corsicana, died Tuesday morning at Evergreen Nursing Home.
She was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church and later Westminister Presbyterian Church. Her husband, the late Sam L. Spikes to whom she was married Nov. 16, 1909, preceded her in death Feb. 16, 1956.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Westminister Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Eugene Wood will officiate and interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
She is survived by a son, Thomas M. Spikes of Corsicana; two daughters, Mrs. T. H. (Mary Frances) Ralph of Clifton and Mrs. W. R. (Evelyn) Hall Jr. of Georgetown; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. One grandson, Capt. Thomas Ralph, Jr., also preceded her in death.
