Minnie D'Onofrio Michel, 95, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday at Loretto. Minnie was a life resident of Syracuse and Ocala, FL, and spent the last seven years living with her daughter Pat. She was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church and Redfield Christian Church. Minnie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and cooking for her family. She retired from the food department in the North Syracuse School District. Minnie was predeceased by her husband, Walter, in 1992; her parents, Matteo and Lucia D'Onofrio; and her great-granddaughter, Jackie. She is survived by her two daughters, Shirley (Donald) Ellithorpe of Brennan Beach, Pulaski, NY, and Florida, and Patricia (James) Ours of Redfield, NY; one son, Robert (Kari) Michel of North Syracuse, NY; 14 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 13 great- great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday from PIRRO & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Park Street, and 11 a.m. in Christ the King Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum. Friends may call 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at PIRRO & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Park St.
