Miss Clara Julia Hoff, a native and lifelong resident of Auburn, died at the Dr. Bonnell M. Souder hospital in Auburn about 5:15 a.m. Wednesday following an illness from a complication of diseases.
Miss Hoff had been ill for six weeks and was admitted to the hospital 10 days before her death.
She was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Hoff. She resided with a sister, Miss Jeannette Hoff, at the family home, 360 West Seventh street, Auburn.
Surviving besides the sister are two other sisters, Mrs. Don Foust of the Auburn Hotel and Mrs. Frank Darling of 123 1⁄2 West Seventh street, Auburn; a brother, Karl Hoff of Miami, Fla.; three nieces and three nephews.
A brother, John Hoff, and a sister, Miss Minnie Hoff, both Auburn residents, preceded her in death.
Miss Hoff was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Auburn.
The body was removed to the Dilgard & Cline funeral home in Auburn for burial preparations.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Friday at the Catholic church with the pastor, Rev. Mathew Lange, officiating. Burial will follow in the Catholic cemetery north of Auburn.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Thursday.
