Lucille Marks Burch, 92, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2011 at Heritage Green Assisted Living. She was the wife of the late Thomas Burch.
Born August 9, 1918 in Stapleton, VA, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Grace Marks. She was retired from Craddock-Terry Shoe Corporation and grew up attending Beulah United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Morcom, two brothers, Albert Marks, Samuel Marks and a niece, Diana Morcom.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Dorothy Marks of Madison Heights; 8 nieces and nephews, Lura Tyree, Jerry Morcom, Donnie (Hilda) Morcom, Susan (Mark) Brooks, Debra (Joey) Gantt, Timothy (Tina) Marks, Brian Marks, Sally Marks and many great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Green and Seven Hills Hospice for their love and support shown to Lucille and the family.
The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2011 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with the funeral to follow at 12 p.m. by the Rev. Robert Brooks. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Beulah United Methodist Church Cemetery, Stapleton.
