The death of Mrs. William Young, occurred at 9 o'clock Friday morning at the family residence, two miles south of Clark's Hill. She had been sick for a long time and her death was caused from cancer. She was about 75 years old and was held in high esteem in the community. Mrs. Young was a devout member of the Dunkard church. She leaves a husband, two sons and three daughters. The funeral was conducted from the residence Sunday morning at 10 o'clock and the interment was made in the Union Cemetery.
