LARRY LESTER CLOUGH
July 14, 1944 - August 18, 2010
Larry Lester Clough of Douglas, Arizona, passed away as the result of a heart attack during surgery on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the age of sixty six.
Larry is survived by his wife, Paula Clough, and children Brian Clough, Shelly Miyashiro, Israel Clough, Gillian Brooks, and Jason Darrow, as well as his 10 grandchildren. Larry Lester Clough will live forever in the hearts of his family and friends, and he is resting in peace in heaven. He was preceded by former wife, Cherie Clough, and children Tanya Clough and Roger Brainard.
Larry was born on July 14, 1944 in Arthur, Illinois and lived a wonderful life as a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Early in life, Larry faithfully served his country in the United States Navy where he was a jet plane mechanic on the U.S.S Enterprise during the Vietnam War. Throughout his life, Larry demonstrated his passion for technology through a career in computers and his hobby of ham-radio. He also loved to fish and spend time with his friends. Later in life, he received great joy spreading God's word through bible studies. We will always remember Larry not for his later struggles with cancer and emphysema, but for the full life he led and the joy he brought to others.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Brown Page Mortuary, 910 F Avenue, Douglas, Arizona. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 10:00am at Faith Ministries Church, 901 E. 11th Street, Douglas, Arizona. Graveside services will follow at the McNeal Community Cemetery in McNeal, Arizona.
