When Dr. BAUGH left Lubbock a few weeks ago, for central West Texas it was not generally known that he was going on any more important mission than to visit his parents and other relatives and friends, but from reading the following, it will be seen that the Doctors mission was one of great momemment. Mr. and Mrs. J. J. GREEN invite you to be present at the marriage of their daughter Nellie Jett GREEN to Dr. William L.BAUGH Sunday evening July twenty sixth at five o'clock, nineteen hundred and eight at home Brown county, Texas.
The Avalanche extends to Dr. BAUGH and his bride our hand of congratulation and wish for them much happiness and prosperity. They will no doubt arrive soon in Lubbock and take up their abode with the good people of this city.
Dr. BAUGH is a young physician and enjoys an increasing patronage and gaining popularity and is deserving of the love and companionship of a noble woman, which we feel sure he will have in his choice of Miss Green, though it is not our good pleasure to have met her, we are willing to rest these predictions on the doctor's good judgment.
