Ralph Charles Lee, 55, of rural Mayville, ND, died Sunday, March 4, 2007, at his home north of Mayville.

Ralph was born on Sept. 19, 1951 in Mayville, ND. He was the son of Henry and Ardell (Reinholt) Lee. He grew up in Mayville and graduated from Mayville High School. He attended Wahpeton State School of Science for two years.
In the following years, he worked for Newman Signs and the Buxton Elevator.

Ralph married Charlotte Ambroson on May 25,1973 at Mayville Lutheran Church. They lived on the Lee farm north of Mayville where Ralph farmed for 18 years. He later worked for the Hatton Elevator and attended Mayville State University where he received his degree at the age of 50. Following graduation, he worked at Commark and the Mayville City Water Plant. He was an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church and the Masonic Lodge.

Ralph was a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, son and grandfather with a huge heart. His first love was his family especially his grandchildren. He celebrated his life by being involved in singing, sports, and by enjoying everyday to the fullest.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte, his daughters, Jessica (Jeremy) Wendt, Farmington, MN and Tamara (Nathan) VanWechel, Fargo, ND, his son Robert (Jessica) Lee, Fargo, ND, mother Ardell (Lee) Meberg, brother Richard Lee, Portland, OR, sisters Mary Garceau, Nampa, ID and Margaret Lee, Fargo, ND, a step-sister, Laura Langemo, Fargo, ND: step-brothers, Peter Meberg, Grand Forks, ND, Luther Meberg, Park River, ND, Eric Meberg, Park River, ND, and Mark Meberg, West Virginia. Also his six greatly adored grandchildren (plus one on the way): Brenden, Keller, Taylor, Elise, Camden and David.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Lee, and stepfather, Paul Meberg.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 2:30 PM at Mayville Lutheran Church. VISITATION: Wednesday, March 7, from 5-7 pm with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Baker Funeral Home in Mayville, ND and one hour prior to the service at the church.

BURIAL: Bethany Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Mayville.
