Opal M. was born on March 21, 1899 to Harriet Amanda ( Ellis ) & William A. Black.
She married Clarence C. " Nick " Bainter. No children were ever born to this marriage.
In the 1930 US Federal Census, Opal M. & Clarence C. Bainter were living in Scotland Township, McDonough County, Illinois.
They moved to Bethel Township, McDonough County when they bought a farm.They lived on this farm until Opal had a debilitating stroke in the 1980's.
After the stroke, Opal was placed in a Macomb Nursing Home for further care. Nick did sell the farm and moved in to Macomb to be closer to Opal. He visited her daily.
Opal passed away in April 1987 and was buried in the Archer - Bethel Cemetery. She was 88 years 1 month old when she passed away.
