St. Joseph, Mo. --Marcella Jean Metzinger, 73, died Monday, March 12, 1990, at her home in St. Joseph.
She was born in Humboldt.
On Oct 9, 1935, she was married to Sylvester F. "Metz" Metzinger in St. Joseph.
Memberships include the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, of the home; her mother, Hazel E. Wilkerson, Leisure World, Calif.; two sons, Donald D. Metzinger, Independence, Mo., and Paul E. Metzinger, Palm Harbor, Fla.; a daughter, Sylvia F. Hanson, St. Joseph; a brother, Charles R. Wilkerson, Wichita; two sisters, Maxine Capelin, Leisure World, and Marjorie Jurdan, San Marino, Calif.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hurlington, Mo.
Heaton-Bowman-Smith and Sidenfaden Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
