SOUTH BEND
- Jane Osburn Witwer, 91, of Wilmington, Del., formerly of Robinhood Lane, South Bend, died at 4 a.m. Thursday in Stonegates Nursing Home, Wilmington. Mrs. Witwer was born July 9, 1904, in Owoso, Mich. On March 10, 1928, as Jane Osburn, She married Mohler Studebaker Witwer. He died in 1981. She is survived by a daughter, Violette Sutton of Wilmington; a son, George O. of Kendallville; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was a graduate of Smith College, Northampton, Mass., and a member of the Junior League, South Bend Literary Club, South Bend Country Club, and Signal Point Country Club, Niles.

Chandler Funeral Home, Wilmington, Del., handled arrangements. Graveside services and burial will be at a later date in Riverview Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to Northern Indiana Historical Society."
