Dr. Clement Pearson of Washington City married Eleanor McKinley Rose circa 1844. He was founder and first president of the Hahnemann Medical Society in America and the American representative at their convention in London, England. The couple lived in Cleveland, then Iowa, and by 1870, the Pearsons returned to Cleveland. Doctor and Mrs. Pearson had two children, William Rose of New York City and Marie Suela. After Dr. Pearson died in 1886, Mrs. Pearson made her home with her daughter, Suela (Pearson) Penfield, in New York City. About six years before Mrs. Pierson's death, they returned to Cleveland, where Mrs. Pearson continued to live with her daughter and granddaughter.
