Virginia J. Davidson, 91, of Muscatine, died Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at All American Care.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2010, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Pastor Dan Schoepf of Calvary Church will officiate the service. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2010, at the funeral home.
Virginia was born on March 19, 1919, in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of George C. and Mary Gladys Keemle Davidson. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She worked at Muscatine General Hospital in the dietary department until her retirement in 198l. She enjoyed helping others, wheeling people in their wheelchairs, and living by her words of wisdom, “love your neighbor as yourself”.
Those left to honor her memory include dear friends JoAnn and Richard Nelson of Milan, Illinois, and Evelyn Lacey of Muscatine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and one brother.
