Born January 14, 1903, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Carl W. and Anna Marie Koenig Schach. On August 16, 1927, she married Milo A. Bloomer in Burlington. He died December 5, 1987.
Mrs. Bloomer was a homemaker. She also worked in clothing sales.
She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, AARP, Good Neighbor Club and Mixed Spices.
Survivors include three nephews, Kent Schach of Niantic, Conn. Carl F. Schach of Woodbury, Min.; and Stephen Schach of Rockford,Ilinois.; three nieces, Sue Fern of Williams Bay,Wisconsin; Pam Schach of Altoona and Vickie Olson of Bettendorf; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of servide Saturday at Prugh's Chapel.
The funeral for Mrs. Bloomer will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Prugh's Chapel, with the Rev. Gary Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
