Born Sept. 29, 1911, near Elk Garden, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Grace (Evans) Hipp. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wylie Anderson; and two sons, Alvin and Allen Anderson.
Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and mother to not only her family but also to a large extended family.
Surviving are four sons, Kenneth Anderson and Ronald Anderson, both of Capon Bridge, W.Va., Robert Anderson of Titusville, Fla., and Wylie Anderson of Kitzmiller; nine daughters, Eileen Critcher of Charlotte, N.C., Phylis Flanigan of Oakland, Shirley Anderson, Barbara Welch and Nancy Brady all of Kitzmiller, Bernadine Dedmon, Helen Crouse, Janet Dye, and Thelma Lacy, all of Georgia; a brother, Raymond Hipp of Elk Garden; and 135 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home in Kitzmiller, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at noon in the Blaine Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Leslie Hipp and the Rev. George Tichinel officiating.
Interment will be in the Bayard Cemetery.
