Yorktown (Special) -- Phillip Lindley, 14, son of Mr and Mrs George Lindley of Iowa City passed away Saturday morning after several months' illness. Surviving are his parents, two brothers, Merle and Harold, of southern Missouri, and six sisters, Mrs Vern Warn of Shenandoah, Mrs Gordon Clausen of Tenville, Mrs Glen Jackson of Norwich, Wilda, Helen, Jean and Lois at home. R.A. Duncan of Shambaugh is the grandfather. The body was brought to Clarinda Sunday. Mr and Mrs Lindley and family were residents of Yorktown before moving to Iowa City this spring and were former residents of Clarinda.
