PETER BECKER DIES SUNDAY IN HOSPITAL
Peter Paul Becker, 66, of 1400 Dawn Ave Montgomery, died Sunday at Copley Memorial Hospital. He was born August 15, 1904 in Aurora.
He is survived by his widow, Jennie (Steging), a son John of Florida, 5 daughters Mrs Stanley (June) Anderson of Big Rock, Mrs Aaron (Ruth) Chase of Aurora, Mrs Donald (Kathleen) Parish of Aurora, Mrs Phillip (Doris) Cleveland of Granada Hills, CA and Mrs Wayne (Marilyn) Whitehead of Monticello, IL, 5 brothers Frank, Harry, George, William and Robert of Aurora, 6 sisters Mrs Russell (Mae) Clark, of Batavia, Mrs Joseph (Margaret) DeBruycker of St. Charles, Mrs Raymond (Louise) Dunteman of Elgin, Mrs Malcolm (Bernice) Lloyd of Boulder Hill, Mrs Robert (Shirley)Toma of Aurora and Mrs Robert (Ann) Christensen. (MISSPELLING SHOULD BE CHRISTIAN) of West Chicago, 17 grandchildren, and a great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mr and Ms Frank G Becker, a sister Mrs Helen Ward, and a brother Charles.
Mr Becker was a member of the Wild Rose Social Club. He retired from the Geneva Construction Co. in 1969 after 14 years of employment.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 130pm at the Dieterle Memorial Home. The Rev Roy A Lundquist will be officiate. Burial will be in River HIlls Memorial Park.
Friends May call at the memorial home from 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 pm Tuesday.
