Mrs. Lawrence (Mildred) Gretz, 86, formerly of 1106 Seventh St. N.W., Faribault, died Friday, Oct. 11, 1991, in the Faribault Manor Health Care Center. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Sacred Heart Church in Faribault with the Rev. George Wertin officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. today in the Parker Kohl Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m.-10:20 a.m. Tuesday in the church. The parish prayers will be recited at 5:30 p.m. today. Mildred Emilia Stotzel, the daughter of Julius and Mary Nelson Stotzel, was born in Bismark, N.D., on June 2, 1905. She married Lawrence Gretz on Feb. 1, 1936, in the Immaculate Conception Church. Mr. Gretz preceded her in death in 1980. Mrs. Gretz was a home maker her married life. She is survived by two sons, Gregory of Northfield and Larry of Faribault; a daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Janet) Peters of Shakopee; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a sister, Mabel Rothenberger of Faribault; and other relatives. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Henry Stotzel; two sisters, Alice Jasinski and Connie Stotzel.
