Obituary-Services for Lula Mae Camel, 79, of Lancaster, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Anthony Cooper. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. She died Friday at the Christian Care Center of Lancaster.

Born Nov. 3, 1925, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Omer and Effie Harp Shearer. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene. She was the widow of Ed Calvin Camel.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Baker of Lancaster; three sons, John Camel of Lexington, Lucien Camel of Boyle County and Ernest Camel of Preachersville; two brothers, Bill Shearer of Mitchellsburg and Omer Shearer, Jr. of Stanford; two sisters, Christine Rutledge of Norwood, Ohio, and Marie Whitehouse of Junction City; 23 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
