Georgia Jane Bunting of Tumwater, Washington passed away at home on September 24, 2011.

She was born, the youngest of five, on December 22, 1947 to George and Margaret Haines.

Georgia attended and graduated from Olympia High School and has been a life time residence of the Olympia area. In 1964 she married Lawrence W. Bunting and together they had two children, Jeffrey and Darryl. After Georgia and Lawrence's separation she worked for the Department of Licensing for 18 years until her retirement in 2010.

Georgia loved gardening and caring for her flowers. When she wasn't spending time outdoors she was in the kitchen cooking something delicious, she will especially be remembered for her homemade Macaroni and Cheese!

Georgia is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey Bunting and Darryl Bunting, three grandchildren, Nicole (Danny) Bahruth, Brent Bunting, and Rachel (Logan) Armga, and three great grandchildren, Adian, Sienna and Sage. She also leaves behind her snake hunting cat, Ziggy.

At Georgia's request there will be no funeral service, instead all friends and family are invited to stop by an open house style gathering to celebrate her life on Saturday, October 8, 2011, between 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., 6725 Silver Ridge Dr. SE, Tumwater, WA 98501.

Please bring your best memories of Georgia to share while enjoying some of her favorite things to eat and drink.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an account in Georgia Bunting's name at any Washington State Employees Credit Union (WSECU).

Georgia will be truly loved and forever missed.
