Bessie Mae Grammer, 81, of Jay, OK passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011 in her home in Jay, OK. She was born on August 2, 1930 in Jay, OK to William and Ella (Trout) Long.

Bessie is survived by four daughters, Luella Hair and husband Leroy of Jay, OK, Sherry England of Jay, OK, Mary Wilson and husband Bob of Jay, OK and Pauletta Bearpaw and husband Robin of Jay, OK, three sons, Ron Grammer and wife Judy of Gravette, AR, William Grammer and wife Peggy of Tulsa, OK and Richard Long and wife Shirley of Siloam Springs, AR. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two sisters, Tessie Long of Jay, OK and Ada Reynolds of Kenwood, OK, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Bessie is preceded in death by both of her parents and two daughters, Della Mae and Connie Lynn.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 3-5PM at the Grand Lake Funeral Home Chapel in Jay, OK. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2011 at 2:00PM at Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Jay, OK with Pastor James Bryant officiating. Services are under the direction of Grand Lake Funeral Homes.
