WILLIAM S. BAIRD
Mr. Baird, 85, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Altoona, died Friday, June 20, 1986, in St. Petersburg.
Mr. Baird retired as a car inspector from the Pennsylvania Railroad.
He was born Feb. 6, 1901, the son of William and Anne (Claycomb) Baird. His wife, Rachel L., preceded him in death.
Surviving are two sons: William L. of St. Petersburg and Donald E. of Washington, D.C.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Baird was a member of the Juniata United Presbyterian Church.
BAIRD -- Memorial services for William Baird, formerly of Altoona, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 12, in Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood, by the Rev. John P. Martin.
