Wanda Louise Barnette, age 64 of Cedar Bluff, Virginia passed away, Monday, September 26, 2011 in Charlottesville, Virginia following a brief illness.
She was born in Grandview, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Edward and Christine Louise Tucker Redden. Wanda was a member of the Whittaker Ridge Assembly of God Church and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a loving, kind soul and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Barnette; and one sister, Sharon McBride.

Funeral Services for Wanda Louise Barnette will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Marilyn Morris officiating. Interment will follow at the Bandy Cemetery on Whittaker Ridge near Bandy, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Ted Reeves, Ed Barnett, Robert Harrison, Johnny Sparks, Butch Altizer and Steve Altizer.
