Born Feb. 25, 1905, in Heflin, Ala., she was the daughter of the late William Robert Allen and Annie Allen. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting and gardening, said her family.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ollie Allen; her second husband, Carl Benjamin Bivins; one son, Tillman Allen; seven brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include one daughter, Jewell Elizabeth Allen McDonald of Albany; one son, William Carvis Bivins and wife Joyce of Albany; and four generations of grandchildren.
