Mrs. Katherine G. Baker died at her home in Dayton at 9:20a.m. yesterday morning, her death being due to the infirmities of age. She was born in Montgomery county, Ohio, December 1, 1820, and moved to this county when she was 12 years of age. Her maiden name was Katherine Gladden. Her husband, who was a very well known physician of Gladden Corner, died a number of years ago. Mrs. Baker was the aunt of Mrs. J. Lynn Caldwell and Mrs. W. S. Baugh, of this city. The funeral will be held from the family residence on Monday morning at 9 o'clock. The Rev. H. C. Rogers, of Vincennes, former pastor of the Dayton Presbyterian church, assisted by the Rev. C. P. Foreman, present pastor of the church, will officiate and the burial will be in the Concord Cemetery. Friends will kindly omit flowers.
