Doris Faye Abrams

Age 83

Doris Faye Abrams, 83, wife of Atmore Abrams, passed away September 23, 2011 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was born August 19, 1928 in Owen Co., KY to the late Walter and Elna Power Luttrell.


She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and had retired from Fruit of the Loom.


Along with her husband she is survived by sons, Gary (Elizabeth) Abrams of Toronto, Canada and Kenny (Peggy) Abrams of Frankfort; grandchildren, Kim Murray and Jeff Abrams both of Frankfort, Gary Dean Abrams of Winchester and Lisa Lackey of Lexington; 9 great grandchildren; brother Lloyd (Audrey) Luttrell of Minorsville; sister, Virginia Wash of Warsaw, and several loving nieces and nephews.


Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Miller officiating. Burial is in Masonic Cemetery with pallbearers being Jeff Abrams, Gary Dean Abrams, Troy Abrams, Donny Abrams, Lynn Abrams, and Anthony Murray. Honorary bearers are Kim Murray, Lisa Lackey, Darrell Hundley, Barbara Stokley, and Anna Miller. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
