Ness City -- Tillie E. Depperschmidt, 72, died Jan. 3, 1990 at Grisell Memorial Long-Term Care Center, Ransom, of natural causes. She was born May 6, 1917 at Ness City, the daughter of Joseph E. Pfannenstiel and Amelia Ruder.

She lived in Ness City all her life and was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Society, both of Ness City.

On Oct. 7, 1941 she married George M. Depperschmidt at Ness City. He survives.

Other survivors include a son, Ronald L., Ness City; three brothers, Edgar E., Robert J., William B., all of Ness City; four sisters, Adeline Leiker, Lydia Stecklein, Florence Pfannenstiel, and Iona Pfannenstiel, all of Ness City; and three grandchildren.

Rosary will be at 8 p.m. today at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City. Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ness City, Father Tom Wagner and Deacon Warren Stecklein presiding. Friends may call all day today at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Ness City.
