Mary Lou Carrick (77) of Bucyrus, formerly of Carrothers, died 10:45 A.M. Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at her home. She was born March 14, 1932 in Carrothers to the late Alton and Clara (Young) Carrick.
Miss Carrick was a graduate of Attica High School and was employed at Bellevue G. E. Plant for 33 years. She attended College Hill United Church of Christ in her younger years and enjoyed yard work and growing flowers and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Miss Carrick is survived by her sister: Ruth (Richard) Stine of Attica, God daughter: Melissa Hill of Strongsville along with several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 sisters: Dorothy Auck, Gertrude Barnes, Faye Brown and Thelma Wade.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 1295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica Burial will be in the College Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Monday, and 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
