He was born March 21, 1941 in Ely, Nevada to Silas E. Brinkerhoff and Elizabeth L. Rudd. He met his wife Sharon at the Frost Top and they were married on October 13, 1961.
Gary was an Ironworker for twenty-five years, Local #27. Gary loved Nascar races, walking, hiking, collecting coins, and finding lost treasures.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughters, Michell, Debbie, Linda, and Jenifer; grandchildren, Christine, Travis, Jeffrey, Sarah, Jaycee, and Cheyanne; great-grandchild, Alex; and his brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Jaclynn, and nephew Mark.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East Bengal Boulevard (7800 South), Cottonwood Heights, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to service.
