Although their marker shows their birth and death month as February according to their death certificates they were born and died in March.

Graveside funeral services in charge of the Zimmerman Funeral Home, Greencastle, were conducted yesterday afternoon by the Rev. Marlin Ressler at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, for Emily Elizabeth and Eric Edward Burger.

The twins were born prematurely Sunday morning at the Waynesboro Hospital. Emily lived 10 hours after birth; Eric lived 32 hours. They were the daughter and son of James and Janet Heefner Burger, of R. R. 3, Waynesboro.

Surviving in addition to the parents, are a sister, Kathy Belle Burger, at home, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Heefer, R. R. 3, Waynesboro; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Burger, R. R. 3, Greencastle.
