PROVIDENCE, R. I., Feb. 25.—William B. Banigan, one of the best-known businessmen ot this city, died shortly after midnight from pneumonia. Besides being a successful business man, Mr. Banigan was an enthusiastic sportsman, being Commodore of the Rhode Island Yacht Club, one of the Board of Directors of the Providence Driving Association, and controlling owner in the Providence Baseball Club. He was Superintendent of the Marvel and other rubber mills, and agent of the Banigan estate. He had large business interests in Atlanta, Ga. He leaves a wife and one daughter.
