Death of E.H. Adams

The passing of Ely H. Adams removes one of Bowling Green's best known and most highly respected citizens. He had lived all his life here among a people who knew and respected him for his personal worth. He was a man of high resolves, absolutely honest and honorable and a true Kentucky gentleman in every respect. He had been prominent in the field of business and in social and club life. For years he had been a member of the Calendar Club and he was one its most liked and likable members. He was a man who attended strictly to his own business and did not meddle with the affairs of others. He was of quiet demeanor, gentle as a woman and loved his friends and was loved by them in return. His going to that other realm will be sincerely mourned by those who are left behind.
