Lennie Lee Reasor, 81, Norman, formerly of Atoka, died November 14, 1994 at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman. A retired school teacher, he was born February 18, 1913 in Atoka and was the son of Peter Reasor and Ora Lee York Reasor. He was a veteran, serving as First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was also a former teacher in the Atoka School system until his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Norman. He was married to Shirley Smith on July 24, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Ora Lee York Reasor; three brothers, Connie, Fulton and Seth Reasor; and a sister, Grace Abbott. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 17 at 2 pm at the First Baptist Church in Atoka with Rev. Jeff Holland Officiating. Burial will be in Green Meadows Cemetery under the directions of Atoka Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Reasor of Norman; two sons, Lenn Reasor of Hartshorne, and Peter Reasor, Houston, Texas; a daughter, Lisa Reasor of Norman; two granddaughters, Rebecca and Samantha Reasor of Houston, Teas; a brother, Gene Reasor, Atoka; five sisters, Carma Seegers, Manteca, Calif.; Jessie Henson, San Pablo, Calif.; Reonne Reasor, Keyes, Calif.; Ruby Shaw of Hobart; Edna Nix of Atoka; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Cleveland, Marion Toombs, Howard Sothern, Homer Barrett, J.A. Dowlen, Lee Evans, Sidney Camp, Lon Fink, Darwin Setliff and Leo Williams. Active pallbearers are Robert Calvert, Loyd Penick, Larry Oldham, Bill Evans, Buddy Durbin, Lloyd Sanders. Transcribed by Cass Reasor.
