Mr. Sprott was born February 21, 1920, in Reagan, Texas to Tom and Estell Sprott. He married Shirley Mae Sprott on January 13, 1983, in San Marcos, Texas. She preceded him in death on May 8, 1998. He had been a resident of Center Point for 22 years. He enjoyed collecting and working with antique cars.
He is survived by three sons, Michael Sprott and wife Gayle of De Soto, Texas, Richard Sprott and wife Sandy of Arlington, Texas, and Charles Sprott and wife Lanetta of Lometa, Texas; daughter, Myra Elizabeth Castle of Mandeville, Louisiana; stepdaughter, Judy Bowman and husband Riley of Yazoo City, Mississippi; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Sam Ligon officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday, February 1, 2005, at Kerrville Funeral Home.
