Irene was born on March 11, 1925 to Paul and Minna Hennig in Unterweissbach, Germany.
The Hennig family immigrated to New York City in 1930. Irene lived in Manhattan, where she met and married David Clemins in 1943. In 1946, David and Irene moved to the Willows area and had their second son, Paul. Irene worked as a bookkeeper and housewife.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, David; son, Doyle, and her brother, Henry Hennig. She is survived by her son, Paul (and wife Sandi) Clemins of Orland, CA; grandsons, Kyle Clemins of Willows, CA and Jason Clemins of Cary, NC; great-granddaughter, Kara Clemins of Cary, NC. Loving step-granddaughter, Stepanie (and husband Luke, son Levi) Andrews.
