He was born October 25, 1902 in DeKalb County to Richard and Mary (Dienst) Stahl. He was engaged in farming until he retired and was a lifelong member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Hinckley.
Mr. Stahl is survived by a sister, Irene (Ray) Dienst of Hinckley, a brother, Glenn (Jean) Stahl of Mesa, AZ, two nephews, Norman (Marilyn) Dienst of Hinckley, Leonard (Barbara) Stahl of Sandwich and a niece, Florence (Vern) Berg of Shabbona and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Myranda Eberly, a brother Earl Stahl and a brother, Curtis in infancy.
Visitation was at Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel in Hinckley on Friday, April 12, 1991 with the funeral service immediately following. Pastor Kate Feeney-Bastian officiated. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Hinckley.
