Louis H. Alitz, age 66, died at his home suddenly at 710 Penn. S. E. about 9 a.m. Friday. Lived in Cerro Gordo County North of Mason City since 1891. He was born August 23, 1884 in Garnavillo, Ill.
He married Anna Tietjens at Des Moines on April 25, 1923. He worked at the Northwestern Cement Co. until he retired in 1938.
He is survived by his wife, three brothers, F. K. Alitz, St. Ansgar, W. A. Alitz, Manly, H. R. Alitz, Plymouth; two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Jessie) Burgraff and Mrs. Cora Tietjens, both of Mason City.
He was preceded in death by a son, Roy Owen Alitz, a sister and brother.
