She married Gilmond R. McDougall on November 28, 1944 in Maryland and moved to New Palestine, IN in 1953. She was Office Branch Manager at Reliance Insurance Company in Indianapolis and retired in 1972. After retirement, Gilmond and Cecile moved to Mooresville, IN.
Cecile enjoyed quilting, bowling and golfing after retirement.
She is survived by one son, G. Royce McDougall (wife Donna) of New Palestine; and four daughters: Barrie L. Pitts of Silver Creek, WA; Brenda L. Keefer (husband Ivan) of Silver Creek, WA; Beth A. Inwood of Johnson City, TN and Cindy L. Dickey (husband Chris) of Indianapolis, IN; eleven grandchildren, John Mark Simpson, Wendy McDougall, Angela Tabor, Lisa Fleetwood (Mike), Michael McDougall, Heather McGuire (Mark), Richard McDougall (Cindy), Matthew Smith (Melissa), Randy Pitts (Leah), Christopher Dickey, and Lorraine "Lori" Dickey; thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers, George Piltzecker (wife Elaine) of Harwich, MA and John Piltzecker of Port St. Lucie, FL.
Cecile was preceded in death by her husband, Gilmond R. McDougall.
Services will be held at Hendryx Mortuary in New Palestine, Indiana on March 23rd with calling from 3-5 pm and Memorial Service at 5 pm.
