Mr. Henry Ransom Presnell, 73, of Greensboro, N.C., died Oct. 29, 2002.
He was born March 23, 1929, in Watauga County. Mr. Presnell was a decorated veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include three daughters, Matisha MacKinnon-Stewart and husband, Michael; Vanessa Hall and husband, Sam; and Luealice Harding and husband, Jeff; two sons, Arvel Presnell and Dwane Presnell; special friend, Joyce Tester; four grandchidren, Phillip, Amanda, Taylor and Thomas.
Also surviving are four brothers and five sisters. Graveside services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Park. At Henry's request, no dark colors should be worn at this celebration.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation of N.C., 5950 Fairview Road, Charlotte, N.C. 28310 or Hospice of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, N.C. 27405.
The family wold like to give special thanks to the staff of Beverly Healthcare, 1201 Carolina Street and Hospice of Greensboro, Cone Hospital, for the special attention and care they provided.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel.
Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
