The funeral for Dolores Leffel Mannasmith, 59, of 781 Circle Drive, Harrisonburg will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday at Harrisonburg Baptist Church.

Dr. Thomas Reynolds and the Rev. T. W. Johnson Jr. will conduct the service. Entombment will be in the mausoleum in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Mannasmith died Nov. 29, 1992 at home.

She was born Nov. 6, 1933, in McGaheysville and was a daughter of Myrtle Bruce Leffel and the late John A. Leffel.

Mrs. Mannasmith grew up in Harrisonburg and graduated from Dayton High School. In 1949, she started working as a secretary for Blakemore's Flowers. She became ovener and operator in 1964 and continued in this position until her death.

She was a member of the Harrisonburg Baptist Church, a former member of the Harrisonburg Business and Professional Women's Club, and a current member of the Harrisonburg Quota Club. She served two terms on the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and was listed in the 1966 edition of Outstanding Young Women of America.

On Aug. 6, 1967, she married R. Tim Mammasmith, who survives.

Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are a sister, Wanda Gooden of Harrisonburg, two brothers, Bruce and Brent Leffel, both of Harrisonburg; one niece and one nephew.

The family will receive friends 7-9 pm today at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home.
