Claude E. Black, 58, of Saxton, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born June 22, 1953, in Roaring Spring, a son of the late Duncan and Gladys (Diehl) Black.
He was married to Cindy (Abbott) Black. They were united in marriage on July 17, 1975 in Paoli.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Duncan john Black, and three sisters; Dorothy Jean Black, Joan McClain, and Helen Louise Black. Mr. Black worked for Penn Lines and then K.W. Reese for over 25 years as an operator and heavy equipment mechanic. He was a 1971 Graduate of Tussey Mt. High School.
