Hazel was the daughter of Timothy & Nancy Ann McWilliams Grimes. She married Benjamin Arnett Lowry, the son of Elijah & Mary Elkin Lowry. Arnett and Hazel were the parents of Franz, Bronston, Willard, Sanford, Walter, Bernhardt, and Thomas Lowry. Mrs. Lowry passed away from the effects of a coronary occlusion, complicated by a history of chronic nephritis and hypertension.
