The Fort Wayne native worked at General Electric Co. for 19 years and was the widow of Russell C., who died in 1989.
Surviving are a son, Jack Freeland of Fort Wayne; a stepdaughter, Bonnie Durnell of New Haven; stepsons, David Aker and Michael Aker, both of Fort Wayne; sisters, Mary Sheets of Rome City, and Ollie Schlecht and Fern Bauman, both of Fort Wayne; a brother, Henry Waters of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Sunday in D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
