James E Farel died last night at 9:25 o'clock at his home on South Columbia street after an illness of seven weeks duration with a complication of diseases. Deceased was born in Boone county on August 11 1858 and was consequently in his fifty-second year. He resided in Boone county until about two years ago when he came to this city for residence.
He is survived by his wife two daughters Mrs Clara Sheets of this city and Mrs Noba(Nova) Ramey of Kirklin and by one step-son Edward Morrison of Kirklin.
The funeral will be conducted form the family home at 8:30 o'clock Friday morning and burial will be at Brown's Wonder cemetery two and a half miles northeast of Lebanon.
