Heart Attack Claims Richard Anthony
KEELER - Funeral services for Richard G. Anthony, 50, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at the Calvin Funeral home, Hartford. The Rev. James Walsh, pastor of the Sister Lakes Community church will officiate, followed by burial in Keeler cemetery.
Anthony was a fruit farmer and a tool and die maker at Whirlpool Corp. He was dead on arrival at Mercy hospital, Benton Harbor Monday following a heart attack.
Anthony was a native of Hamilton township. He was a member of the Dowagiac Elks club.
Survivors are his wife, Dorothy, whom he married in 1940; his mother, Mrs. Ethel Anthony of Decatur; a daughter, Mrs. Sherry Bromley of Dowagiac; two sons, Allyn and Roger, both of Keeler; three grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Catherine Graham of Decatur.
