Richard C. Brabham

Richard C. Brabham, 81, of Parkersburg, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 13, 1929, in Wood County, W.Va., a son of the late William C. and Pearl Combs Brabham.

Richard was employed with the former Universal Glass for 17 years and later retired from G.E. following 29 years of employment. He was an avid reader of history and very much enjoyed building bird houses. He was also a member of the Parkersburg American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Delores Anderson Brabham; one daughter, Marky Lemaster of Parkersburg; one son, Terrance "Terry" Brabham and wife, Mary Ann, of Parkersburg; one brother, Jim Brabham and wife, Dottie, of Florida; six grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Nadia Lerow Brabham; one daughter, Debbie Brabham; one son-in-law, Mark Lemaster; six sisters; and two brothers.

Private committal services at Mt. Carmel Cemetery will be conducted at the convenience of the family.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg.
