He was born Dec. 19, 1880, in the Town of Newton, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Reimer. On Oct. 15, 1904, he married the former Louise Reinhardt at Newton. The couple resided in Newton for five years and then moved to Manitowoc where he was employed by the J. J. Stengel Co.
The couple also operated a retail store at Collins for 33 years.
Mr. Reimer was a 25-year member on the Town of Collins School Board.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Alfred, of Sheboygan; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchidren. One daughter and one sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, the Rev. William Redeker, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Thursday.
