Ureal E. Atwell, 40, died suddenly early Saturday afternoon at his home three miles west of Mulberry.
He was born Aug. 10, 1915, in Liletown, Ky., and had been employed by the National Homes Corporation, Lafayette, for the past seven years. He was a son of R. Lonnie and Lula (Whitlock) Atwell, both of whom survive.
Mr. Atwell was a member of the Mormon church.
He was married in 1938 to Henrietta Page, who also survives.
Other survivors include two sons, John R. and Bedford, both at home; a brother Finley Atwell, Lafayette route 5; a sister, Mrs. Clifford Myers, Mulberry, and a half-sister Mrs. Ada Lake, Lafayette.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2 p. m. from the Kleinsmith Funeral Home, Mulberry. Interment was in Wyandotte cemetery near Dayton.
