VERA WRIGHT DEAD AT 75; GRIMES RITES
Gravesides funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) in Grand Island Cemetery near Grimes for Mrs. Vera Merle Wright, 75, former resident of the Grimes area who died Saturday morning in Memorial Hospital, Redding.
Mrs. Wright, a native of Corning, born Dec. 12, 1897, moved to Grimes in 1921 and in the following year she married Grove L. Beckley. He died in 1948. She moved to Humboldt County in 1953 after marrying Marion W. Wright, who died March, 1963. Since then she made her home with her sister, Mrs. Fred Harris, in Weed.
Mrs. Wright is also survived by a brother, Vern Todd of Grimes. She was the step-mother of Ralph Beckley and Faye Gillaspy, both of Grimes; B. J. Wright of Lakeport and Donald F. Wright of Klamath, California. Numerous nieces and nephews, eight step-grandchildren and severalstep-great grandchildren also survive.
Interment in the Grand Island Cemetery will be directed by McNary-Moore.
